First of all: Your choise of the two video-clips (one for tai chi and one for yoga) is HORRIBLE ! In the text you mention;….graceful movements. Well, now when you speed up a videoclip 300% you can only RUIN the gracefullness in it.
Tai chi is more complex, than you seem to know: Boiled down we say, it,s good as: 1. Meditation/ meditative workout. For 2: Health, stretching, balance, grounding and flexibility. And 3: For self-defence. This should make it a CLEAR choise for women, because you will be able to do this, WITHOUT using strength/ musclepower. And last, as the Juwel in the crown, you don,t mention THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE between Yoga & tai chi: In tai chi we have A LOT of partnerwork.
